Metallurgy Student Co-op Position

Location: Kirkland Lake

Join Agnico Eagle as a Metallurgy Co-op Student and play a key role in the Process Plant Department. This position focuses on safety, data analysis, and technical support.

Working with the Metallurgy Superintendent, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in all metallurgical processes. Your responsibilities will include providing support to mill and lab operations, carrying out sampling campaigns, and analyzing metallurgical data to optimize procedures. This role is essential in achieving operational goals and promoting safe practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and environmentally responsible work methods

• Perform routine technical support for processes

• Manage daily activities in the metallurgy lab

• Analyze data for metallurgical optimization

• Conduct routine inspections and surveys

Requirements:

• Students enrolled in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or related

• Active participant in a formal Co-op program

• Strong communication and self-motivation skills

• Capability to work in a multicultural environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
