Process Control Technologist at IAMGOLD

Location: Gogama

Drive innovation in mining with IAMGOLD as a Process Control Technologist at the Côté Gold Mine. Ensure effective operation and maintenance of advanced process control systems.

In this role, you will be part of the Côté Gold Mill Maintenance Engineering team, collaborating across departments. Your expertise in programming, optimization, and troubleshooting will be vital to integrating and maintaining process control systems. This position follows a 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at our site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize process control systems for efficiency

• Analyze operating data to implement improvements

• Configure control system logic and operator displays

• Tune and troubleshoot control loops effectively

• Support hardware and software integration and commissioning

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Process Control or related field

• Minimum of 2 years in industrial environments

• Proficient in PLC, SCADA, and control system programming

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication abilities and teamwork experience
