Mine Automation Specialist at IAMGOLD

Enhance mining technology at IAMGOLD's Côté Gold Mine in Canada as a Mine Systems Automation Specialist. Focus on machine control, automation, and system improvements.

This role involves supporting and continuously improving automation models for both mobile equipment and fixed infrastructure. Candidates should have a post-secondary degree in Engineering, along with 3+ years of relevant experience, and be adept at collaborating with diverse teams to ensure efficient mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support operation and improvement of automation systems

• Collaborate with Technical Services, IT, and business units

• Engage vendors for technology direction and contract compliance

• Evaluate emerging technologies for operational efficiency

• Provide operational support and training for site personnel

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering or related field

• 3+ years' experience in mine control and automation

• Strong project and change management skills

• Expertise in open pit mining equipment

• Excellent communication skills in dynamic environments
