Be a key player at Lake Shore Gold as a Senior Engineer in Long Term Planning, based in Timmins, Ontario. This full-time position focuses on strategic planning, enabling optimized mine operations with an emphasis on safety and economic feasibility.

With a strong background of at least 5 years in underground mining planning, you will conduct thorough scenario analyses and engage stakeholders through effective presentations.

Your role also involves coordinating with other engineering teams to ensure that the long-term resource allocations align with the overall mining plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct scenario analysis for mining strategy optimization

• Execute economic analyses to maximize resource value

• Develop stakeholder presentations to communicate strategies

• Ensure compliance with short and medium production team plans

• Lead underground mining studies and assessments

Requirements:

• 5+ years in mine planning experience

• Accreditation as a Professional Engineer preferred

• Proficiency in Deswik.

CAD and Deswik.

IS necessary

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
