WSP is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer who will spearhead electrical designs for mining and industrial projects across Ontario. Your leadership will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations, requiring extensive experience in electrical engineering and a strong understanding of relevant standards. You'll mentor junior engineers, fostering the growth of future talent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement electrical control systems
• Perform load flow and arc-flash analysis
• Develop specifications for electrical equipment
• Oversee compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements:
• At least 12 years of relevant design experience
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification in Ontario
• Familiar with CSA, ANSI, and IEEE standards
• Experience in mines or refineries preferred
• Ability to meet safety requirements on site
