Contribute to the innovative mining sector at IAMGOLD as a Mine Systems Automation Specialist. This position focuses on improving automation systems and operations for sustainable mining.

IAMGOLD is on the lookout for a Mine Systems Automation Specialist to ensure the successful configuration and testing of automation systems that enhance the mobile fleet's operations at the Côté Gold Mine. Reporting to the Superintendent, IT OT, this role will be central to enabling autonomous mining accomplishments through engagement with various stakeholders and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve machine control systems efficiency

• Collaborate with business units for mining integration

• Align with vendors on technology strategies and compliance

• Investigate and apply new technologies to operations

• Guarantee compliance in system documentation and change control

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field

• Minimum of 3 years in automation systems role within mining

• Experience in hard-rock open pit operations and project delivery

• Competence in data analysis related to operational technologies

• Ability to work independently and engage diverse teams
