Position: Fall 2026 Mine Engineering Co-op
Join Discovery's Mine Engineering Co-op in Timmins starting Fall 2026. Gain real-world experience in gold and silver mining, working alongside industry experts.

Discovery's Kidd Operations is seeking Mine Engineering students for a 12-month co-op placement. Work within a technically demanding environment, developing key engineering designs for processes such as drilling and blasting while interactively learning about mine ventilation and design. This opportunity prepares students for real-world engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engineering designs using AutoCAD software

• Collaborate on projects involving ground control and ventilation

• Support scheduling and surveying engineering efforts

• Work across various engineering disciplines

• Engage in practical mine design and implementation

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Mining Engineering at a recognized institution

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and preferably Amine

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada

• Strong interest in the mining sector
