Join WSP as an Electrical Drafter/Designer, contributing to transformative energy projects across Canada. Utilize your technical skills to advance low-carbon and sustainable initiatives.
Your expertise will be vital within WSP's Energy & Process team, where you will transform designs into actionable electrical drawings for diverse energy projects. You will collaborate with experts and provide technical guidance that enhances project execution and field support, marking a significant impact on energy transition efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transform P&IDs into detailed electrical documents
• Create drawing packages for approval and bid processes
• Review and coordinate project requisitions and BOMs
• Provide support during construction phases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project delivery
Requirements:
• Diploma in electrical engineering technology or related field
• 5+ years in consulting or EPC environments
• Experience with Power Generation projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with 3D CADD is a bonus
• Solutions-oriented with effective teamwork skills
