Position: Mechanical Engineer at EXP in Ontario
Join EXP as a Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) in New Liskeard, Northern Ontario. This full-time role focuses on pump and piping design while mentoring junior staff and ensuring quality assurance.

As a Mechanical Engineer at EXP, you will be a vital member of the Infrastructure & Transportation team. Your responsibilities will include leading mechanical projects, conducting QA/QC reviews, and editing project specifications. With your engineering expertise, you'll ensure compliance with code and contribute to innovative design solutions across various infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor mechanical staff on design responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC review of reports and project specifications

• Guide calculations and compliance evaluations

• Develop basis of design narratives for projects

• Travel to project sites for progress reviews and problem solving

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5+ years of pump and piping design experience

• Registered Professional Engineer preferred

• 3D Modeling experience is an asset

• Strong problem-solving skills for project challenges
