In this key position, you will be tasked with coordinating complex automation activities and providing technical guidance for projects across Agnico Eagle’s diverse operations. Your focus on ensuring system interoperability will be vital for successful project delivery. Work collaboratively across teams to optimize mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and approve engineering deliverables from consultants
• Act as subject matter expert in automation projects
• Develop and maintain automation standards for all sites
• Conduct multidisciplinary design reviews and risk assessments
• Support operations during startup and commissioning
Requirements:
• Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology or equivalent
• 15+ years in the automation field
• Experience in heavy industrial or processing projects
• Proven ability to work with external engineering partners
• Knowledge of control system integration and PLC programming
