Mine Planner - Longhole at Gowest Gold

Drive mine planning excellence at Gowest Gold's Bradshaw Mine. As a Mine Planner - Longhole, you'll manage designs and schedules to meet production targets effectively.

In this role, reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, you'll be responsible for producing both short and medium-term mine designs and tracking progress at the Bradshaw Mine. Key skills include creating development layouts, long-hole drill sections, and optimizing blast designs. Your contribution is crucial for adhering to engineering standards and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce mine layouts and plans for short range forecasts

• Create long-hole drilling and blast layouts per standards

• Update geological data for accurate drill layouts

• Track mine performance and assist in performance reporting

• Collaborate with Underground Supervisors on weekly plans

Requirements:

• Mining Engineering Degree or Mining Engineering Diploma

• 2-5 years of underground mining engineering experience

• Proficiency in 3D mining software like Deswik

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills

• Compliance with safety and regulatory standards
