In this pivotal position, you'll report to the Engineering Coordinator and be tasked with producing effective mining designs and development schedules. You'll leverage your knowledge of underground mining to track progress and create layouts that meet production needs. Collaboration with various departments will ensure plans are implemented smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design layouts for long-hole drilling and blasting
• Ensure up-to-date geological data for layouts
• Monitor production performance against plans
• Prepare comprehensive reports on mining performance
• Work jointly with supervisors on planning
Requirements:
• Mining Engineering Degree or Technician Diploma
• 2-5 years of experience in underground mining
• Ability to use 3D mining software such as Deswik
• Strong work prioritization skills
• Commitment to safety regulations and practices
