Seize the opportunity to work as an Advanced Process Control Technologist with IAMGOLD at the Côté Gold Mine. This technical role focuses on enhancing process control safety and efficiency.
You will play a crucial role in the Côté Gold Mill Maintenance Engineering team, ensuring optimal performance of process control systems. Duties involve tuning loops, maintaining cybersecurity, and supporting project initiatives—all contributing to the mill's continuous improvement. Strong collaboration with various teams is expected to foster innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize functional performance of control systems
• Tune, troubleshoot, and modify control system logic
• Assist in process modifications and capital projects
• Integrate and program control system software and hardware
• Conduct audits and preventive maintenance for reliability
Requirements:
• Degree in Process Control or related area
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industrial experience
• Strong skills in PLC and SCADA programming
• Knowledge of process instrumentation and networking
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
