We’re actively searching for two (2) Reliability Technician to join the Côté Gold Mine team, with a start date to be determined, reporting to the Senior Maintenance Supervisor. This role supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs through vibration analysis, infrared inspections, lubrication routes, and oil sampling within the processing plant.
In this role, you support IMG’s purpose by improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime. Your proactive maintenance efforts help enhance operational efficiency, extend asset life, and ensure safe, consistent production performance across the processing plant.
Responsibilities:- Support daily maintenance activities by assisting millwrights with equipment alignment, installation, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Perform predictive maintenance tasks including vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication sampling, and oil analysis, producing detailed reports and corrective actions.
- Monitor equipment condition using dashboards and ERP systems, track trends, and generate work requests to address potential issues proactively.
- Maintain and manage predictive maintenance tools, ensuring proper calibration, inventory control, and readiness for use.
- Contribute to health, safety, and risk management by supporting procedure development and identifying risks that may impact plant reliability.
- Provide technical expertise to operations, maintenance, and engineering teams, supporting failure analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization of maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with OEMs and contractors, support development of work instructions, and ensure quality control of maintenance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices, proposing innovative solutions, enhancing maintenance strategies, and building technical knowledge and skills.
- 2+ year technical degree in mechanical engineering or Certified Industrial mechanics (Red seal) with experience in reliability and condition monitoring.
- Level 1 or higher vibration analyst certification is considered an asset.
- A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial or technical environment.
- Previous experience in open pit mining or mineral processing (specifically gold processing) is considered an asset.
- Experience in vibration, ultrasound, thermography technologies.
