The successful candidate will provide essential engineering support to production and maintenance groups, focusing on achieving annual tonnage targets safely and efficiently. A key part of the role involves engaging in energy performance reporting and contributing to environmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in GHG and energy audits as required
• Report monthly on plant electrical consumption and performance
• Produce and reconcile annual energy budget for the site
• Recommend energy savings opportunities and support efficiency initiatives
• Maintain environmental control systems and support technical training
Requirements:
• Professional Engineering degree or relevant technical diploma
• Experience in an underground mine setting
• Knowledge of engineering standards and environmental regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
