As we continue to grow and take on new challenges, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead our financial strategy, ensure operational excellence, and contribute to the success of impactful projects.

• Conduct monthly account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial reports
• Prepare annual working papers and assist with year-end audits
• Support the Financial Controller in all aspects of financial reporting
• Assist with capital authorization requests (CAR), budget preparation, and cost variance analysis
• Develop and maintain accounting controls and ensure policy compliance
• Manage operating and capital lease schedules and maintain the fixed asset register
• Provide backup support for payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent professional designation is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, preferably in mining or construction industries
• Strong understanding of financial systems, corporate finance, and accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Jonas Enterprises preferred)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with financial audits and internal controls
