Position: Project Accountant Role Ontario
Take charge as a Project Accountant at Discovery Silver in Timmins, Ontario, specializing in financial management of capital projects. This on-site position emphasizes forecasting and financial reporting.

In this pivotal role, you will report to the Finance Superintendent Capital, responsible for the financial oversight of projects from initiation through completion. You will collaborate with diverse teams to develop detailed budgets and financial analyses, ensuring projects are executed within approved limits and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project setup in SAP and cost tracking

• Monitor project expenditures and forecasts

• Conduct economic evaluations like NPV and IRR

• Ensure compliance with spending authorizations and budgeting

• Support AFE governance and reporting processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

• CPA designation or progress preferred

• Minimum 5 years of project accounting experience

• Proficiency in economic evaluation metrics

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
