The Medical Radiation (X‑ray –CT) Technologist is accountable to the Manager, Medical Imaging. Under the direction of a Radiologist/Cardiologist/Internist, they perform procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision of technical detail. They perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, skill, ingenuity and initiative, and assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.
Qualifications- Graduate of an approved course for Medical Radiological technologists.
- Membership in the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (OAMRT).
- Registered with the College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Completion of CT parts 1, 2 and 3 CAMRT courses.
- Clinical practice in a CT environment.
- Minimum three (3) years of CT experience.
- Experience in the development of a CT Scan program.
- Required to perform x‑ray duties as assigned.
- Available to work all shifts (days, evenings, weekends, on‑call).
- Bilingualism will be considered an asset.
