Be part of Timmins and District Hospital’s team as an IT Desktop Technician. This essential role focuses on supporting diverse technology needs within the hospital environment.
In this position, you will manage various IT systems and devices while addressing user-reported issues. With your technical expertise, you'll initiate root-cause investigations and implement effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency. You will also assist in maintaining records related to equipment repairs, ensuring high service availability for all hospital applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the maintenance of business devices like PCs and printers
• Troubleshoot application and hardware issues proactively
• Manage spare parts inventory for hospital equipment
• Track hardware malfunctions and document resolutions
• Collaborate with vendors to address system challenges
Requirements:
• Completion of a computer technology program or related diploma
• Mandatory A+ certification
• Minimum 3 years of desktop support experience
• Solid understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office
• Effective communication skills with all staff levels
