310T Truck and Coach Apprentice

Joel Vachon Trucking is currently looking for a 310T Truck and Coach Apprentice to join our team. This is a full-time position and is an amazing opportunity for training and career development. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles operate safely and efficiently. • Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair the following systems:
  • Electrical and electronic systems
  • Tires, wheels and hubs
  • Transmissions, clutches, drive shafts and axles
  • Body and trim, frames and hitching/coupling systems
  • Steering, suspension and computer control systems
  • Braking systems including air supply and hydraulic, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning systems
  • Diagnose and/or troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend required repairs and discuss with supervisor to determine the best course of action
  • Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and support the team as needed
  • Record time spent, parts used, and explanations of repairs and/or maintenance conducted in shop system
  • Follow all company health, safety, and PPE protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Previous experience in a dealership or service environment is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents related to automotive systems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this apprenticeship.
