We’re actively searching for a Mill Maintenance Planner to join the team at the Côté Gold Mine Site, reporting to the Mill Chief Planner. This role develops, coordinates, and oversees mechanical maintenance and project plans while integrating asset strategies and driving improvements in planning processes and scheduling effectiveness. The planner supports IMG’s purpose by enhancing reliability, safety, and efficiency across mill operations.
Through accurate planning and strong coordination, the Mill Planner reduces downtime, optimizes resources, and ensures high‑quality maintenance execution, contributing to sustainable production and operational excellence.
- Scope and develop detailed mechanical maintenance plans, including work orders, task lists, and comprehensive work packages with all required safety, resource, and scheduling information.
- Maintain a 2–4‑week backlog of ready‑to‑schedule maintenance work, proactively resolving planning issues and improving data accuracy within Oracle eAM.
- Support shutdown planning activities by defining work scope, preparing work orders and work packages, and coordinating key scheduling milestones.
- Lead planning and scheduling meetings, ensuring effective communication and coordination between maintenance, operations, engineering, reliability, and supply chain teams.
- Collaborate with reliability, engineering, operations, and supply chain stakeholders to optimize maintenance strategies, improve equipment reliability, and minimize downtime.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs, analyze performance gaps, and implement corrective actions, while developing short‑ and long‑term maintenance forecasts and budgets.
- Continuously improve preventive maintenance programs, work package quality, and cost efficiency without compromising safety, reliability, or operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with asset management standards and safe work practices, while driving continuous improvement of planning processes, documentation, and support for commissioning activities.
- Graduate degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Professional experience with maintenance work routines, mechanical maintenance, and welding is considered an asset.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in processing plant maintenance or asset management.
- Proven experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Oracle eAM or similar).
- Passionate about learning maintenance planning and scheduling best practices.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate and engage multidisciplinary teams in fast‑paced environments.
- Self‑motivated problem solver with strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented professional with strong time management skills and sound judgment in decision‑making.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000+ Bonus
