Part-Time GSE Technician

Join Maintair Aviation’s Ground Service Equipment team as a part-time GSE Technician at Timmins Airport. This role focuses on equipment maintenance, inspections, and teamwork while working approximately 20-24 hours weekly.

As a GSE Technician, you’ll report to the GSE Manager to ensure effective maintenance and troubleshooting of ground service equipment. Flexible evening and weekend hours are required, and a technical background is key for success in this role. Your responsibilities will include cleaning, performing preventative maintenance, and asset management of GSE equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct equipment cleaning and housekeeping

• Complete preventative maintenance as scheduled

• Troubleshoot flagged GSE issues efficiently

• Track GSE performance and report deficiencies

• Manage parts inventory and organization

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of mechanical or diesel experience

• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract

• Ability to secure an Airport Restricted Area Pass

• Strong computer skills, including GAC Asset Management

• Flexibility to adapt to varied shifts and outdoor work
