Facilities Maintenance Worker - Northern College

Reporting to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager, this role includes various responsibilities aimed at promoting safety and functionality. You will handle grounds duties, operate equipment, and maintain necessary building component repairs. The position also involves routine safety inspections and minor maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grounds keeping duties like snow removal and landscaping

• Handle various types of plant equipment and vehicles

• Maintain and repair building interiors and exteriors

• Conduct minor plumbing and HVAC maintenance

• Inspect safety equipment monthly for compliance

Requirements:

• One year certificate in a related area

• Two years of relevant maintenance experience

• Class G driver's license needed

• Certification in WHMIS and First Aid/CPR/AED

• Proficient in carpentry, plumbing, welding, and troubleshooting
