In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Care, providing high-quality nursing services to seniors. Your responsibilities will include conducting clinical assessments, managing care plans, and administering medications, all while collaborating with a dedicated team. Engage with residents and families to deliver education, ensuring compliance with health regulations and Extendicare policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement person-centered care in collaboration with the care team

• Conduct and document accurate clinical assessments

• Facilitate resident care conferences and support transitions

• Provide emergency care and medication administration

• Coordinate care assignments for nursing staff

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse registration in the province

• Experience with unregulated care providers preferred

• Strong critical thinking and time management skills

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
