Become a Registered Nurse for Surgical Patients at Timmins and District Hospital, where your nursing skills will lead to better patient care and outcomes. This position focuses on surgical procedures across various specializations.
We are seeking a nursing graduate with a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario. A minimum of one year of surgical nursing experience is preferred. Successful candidates will demonstrate independent practice abilities and uphold hospital policies regarding patient privacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient care according to established nursing standards
• Ensure adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies
• Manage care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures
• Maintain high levels of clinical competencies
• Participate in Basic Cardiac Life Support training
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• At least one year of recent surgical nursing experience
• Awareness and experience in urological and gynecological care
• Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
• COVID vaccination compliance
