As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee the quality of care delivered to residents or patients, following established nursing protocols and physician orders. Your key duties will include assessing patient needs, supervising nursing staff, and guiding care in the absence of the Director of Care. Ideally, you possess experience in community or long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement nursing standards while providing patient care
• Assist in patient assessments and care plan evaluations
• Supervise nursing and personal care staff assigned to the unit
• Monitor staff performance and conduct appraisals
• Direct the nursing team in the absence of leadership
Requirements:
• Valid nursing certificate from approved institutions
• Registered or eligible with provincial institutions
• Previous experience in relevant care settings
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks
