Part Time Registered Nurse Community Care

Enhance nursing management with a part time Registered Nurse role in community care. Uphold standards, oversee staff, and provide quality patient care as per regulations.

This part time position focuses on ensuring effective resident and patient care in alignment with established nursing standards. You will be responsible for assessing, developing, and reviewing comprehensive care plans while managing nursing and personal care staff. The role also includes providing guidance and direction in the absence of the Director of Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure resident care meets nursing standards and policies

• Assist in developing and evaluating patient care plans

• Manage and supervise nursing staff on assigned units

• Conduct performance appraisals and monitor staff performance

• Provide direction to the nursing department as needed

Requirements:

• Current certificate of competence for the province

• Registered or eligible for registration with professional institutions

• Experience in community or long-term care settings

• Strong communication and prioritization skills

• Creative problem-solving ability for comprehensive care
