Casual Registered Nurse in Oral Surgery

Join our dynamic oral surgery practice as a casual Registered Nurse. You'll be preparing equipment, assessing patients, and providing essential care during surgery and recovery.

We're seeking licensed Registered Nurses for flexible hours in Timmins, Ontario. This role requires you to perform pre-operative assessments, monitor patients during sedation, and ensure post-operative care aligns with high standards. You'll be expected to document all necessary patient information, showcasing your strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment and medications for surgical procedures

• Review patient history and conduct pre-operative assessments

• Monitor vital signs during sedation and assist as needed

• Provide post-operative care and prepare patients for discharge

• Complete all required documentation for patient records

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license as per provincial guidelines

• BLS and ACLS certification essential

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to take initiative and work effectively independently

• Previous experience in oral surgery or critical care is an asset
