Emergency Care Registered Practical Nurse

As a key member at Discovery Kidd Operations, the RPN reports to the Health and Hygiene Supervisor and delivers emergency care for occupational injuries and non-occupational illnesses.

Your role includes health monitoring, teaching, and assistance in WSIB claims. You will also perform medical assessments and maintain essential medical records with a focus on confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diverse nursing services and document care given

• Deliver emergency care for injuries and illnesses

• Administer health monitoring and teaching to employees

• Schedule and perform medical surveillance testing

• Maintain organized computer and filing records

Requirements:

• Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Previous nursing experience essential

• Comfortable working in confidential settings

• Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations

• First Aid and Audiometry certification preferred
