Nurse Practitioner in Regional Eating Disorders

As a Nurse Practitioner, your primary responsibilities will include advanced clinical assessments and continuous management of patients with eating disorders. You will advocate for effective clinical pathways and lead efforts in quality improvement while delivering psychoeducation to clients and their families. Your leadership and nursing skills will directly impact patient recovery and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer screening, assessment, and intervention for eating disorder clients
• Establish therapeutic relationships to enhance patient care
• Order and monitor relevant diagnostic tests and evaluations
• Create effective collaboration with mental health programs
• Document patient care accurately and timely
Requirements:
• Must possess a Registered Nurse Extended Class License
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Strong background in managing mental health disorders
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
• Knowledge of metabolic health and psychiatric conditions
