Nursing Position in Occupational Health

You'll work closely with the Occupational Health Coordinator to promote health protection and manage occupational injuries. Responsibilities include administering immunizations, conducting TB tests, and supporting disability claims management. Your expertise in nursing will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health standards and legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing Workplace Safety claims
• Implement follow-up nursing care and care plans
• Promote health and wellness programs within the team
• Collaborate with community partners on safety initiatives
• Deliver effective health counseling and support
Requirements:
• Good standing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Occupational Health Nurse certification is preferred
• Proven experience in disability management is advantageous
• 2-5 years of relevant occupational health experience
• Familiarity with Parklane Software is beneficial
