Be a key player in occupational health as a Nurse this part-time role, you will manage health care initiatives, focusing on employee safety and wellness in Ontario.
As an essential member of the Occupational Health and Safety Team, you'll engage in direct patient care, case management, and health promotion initiatives. Your contributions will support injury treatment, compliance with health regulations, and the facilitation of return-to-work policies, affecting worker productivity and health positively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide health care, immunizations, and counselling to employees
• Conduct assessments for workplace injuries and illnesses
• Monitor compliance with legislation and health protocols
• Administer mask fit testing and manage health programs
• Keep accurate health records for all interventions
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 2 to 5 years of relevant occupational health experience preferred
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience in a unionized environment is a plus
• Must have received at least one COVID vaccine dose
