Drive employee health initiatives at Timmins and District Hospital as an Occupational Health Nurse. You will be pivotal in health assessments and supporting workplace safety for various workforce sectors.
In this role, you'll collaborate with the Occupational Health Physician and Coordinator to manage health programs and support workers with injuries or illnesses. You will conduct health monitoring and provide crucial counseling and immunizations. Your nursing expertise will help facilitate a safe return to work and compliance with necessary health legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional nursing care for employee health
• Conduct health assessments and monitor vital signs
• Assist in health promotional programs and initiatives
• Ensure all records of care are meticulously maintained
• Collaborate with various committees on safety improvements
Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certification as an Occupational Health Nurse is a plus
• 2-5 years of experience in occupational health
• Strong computer skills required, including Microsoft Office
• Bilingual in English/French is advantageous
