As a key member of the safety team, the Safety Coordinator will report to the Risk & Assurance Supervisor. This role encompasses advising staff on safety protocols, coordinating safety reports, and supporting incident investigations. You will deliver health and safety technical expertise while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop daily incident and injury reports

• Coordinate weekly safety reports and leading indicators

• Support incident investigations at departmental levels

• Conduct spot audits and field checks on site

• Act as a subject matter expert on OHSA regulations

Requirements:

• University Degree or College Diploma in relevant field

• 2-5 years of mining industry experience

• Strong knowledge of mining regulations and site procedures

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to prioritize workload effectively
