Safety Coordinator at Discovery Kidd Operations

Reporting to the Risk & Assurance Supervisor, this position has a significant impact on workplace safety. You will collaborate with the safety team to implement safety initiatives, conduct serious incident investigations, and ensure compliance with OHSA regulations and procedures throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage daily injury reports

• Coordinate the reporting of safety metrics and indicators

• Engage in incident investigations and follow-ups

• Conduct safety audits and field checks as needed

• Manage site communications regarding safety alerts

Requirements:

• University Degree or College Diploma or equivalent

• 2-5 years of experience in mining environments

• Familiarity with mining-related regulations and procedures

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage tasks
