Position: Lead Safety Trainer at Dumas Contracting
Be a leader in underground safety as the Safety & Training Coordinator with Dumas at the Galleon Gold Project. Foster a culture of safety through effective training.

In this vital role, you will oversee safety compliance, conduct training sessions, and ensure that all documentation meets regulatory requirements across the mining operations. Your expertise in training and mentoring employees will drive a culture focused on health and safety best practices, making a meaningful impact on operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for health and safety protocol adherence

• Facilitate employee safety orientations and training

• Evaluate training effectiveness and competency assessments

• Update training programs and maintain records

• Participate in safety audits and improvements

Requirements:

• 10 years of underground mining experience needed

• 2 years minimum in a safety role required

• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner certification

• Strong familiarity with mining legislation

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
