Quality Control Intern,Timmins, Ontario

You’ll work side-by-side with experienced professionals, build practical skills, and gain exposure to the technologies shaping the wood products industry. Thisis an on-site internship with an anticipated start date in May 2027. Ideally,you’ll be available for a 4-8month term.

  • Salaries starting from$3,350 per month
    (based on your year inschool and previous experience).
  • Temporary living allowance
    for interns moving to the area for the role.
What You’ll Do
  • Learn how quality control supports the production of high-quality wood products.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and operational data from different areas of the mill.
  • Participate in inspections, surveys, and process reviews to help identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with quality improvement projects, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support product quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Gain hands-on experience solving real manufacturing challenges while building your analytical and problem-solving skills.
What You Offer
  • You are working towards a degree or diploma in an industry-related program(forestry, supply chain, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering,industrial engineering).
  • You are committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with your team and other departments.
  • You are interested in hands-on work in an industrial setting.
  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
