Step into a key role as a Mining Technologist at IAMGOLD, supporting cutting-edge mining technology and sustainable practices. This position offers a rotation schedule of 7/7 or 14/14.
IAMGOLD is looking for a Mining Technologist to work at the Côté Gold Mine, contributing to operational excellence through data analysis and collaboration with technical teams. In this role, you will focus on QA/QC protocols, data management, and staff training to enhance safety and efficiency in mining processes. Your efforts will help shape a more sustainable future for mining.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Technical Services in QA/QC execution
• Conduct field surveys using advanced technology
• Analyze data trends to improve mine performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally for quality issue resolution
• Oversee equipment integrity and maintenance
Requirements:
• Degree in Mine Technology or Mining Engineering
• 2-5 years of relevant mining experience
• Preferred:
Drone Pilot Certificate from Transport Canada
• Understanding of industry-specific quality regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
