Pads K9 Protection & Detection Service Inc. is a trusted Northern Ontario security provider specializing in K9 patrols, tactical security, and detection services. We deliver dependable protection across public spaces, commercial properties, and industrial sites with a focus on professionalism, accountability, and proactive security.

We are currently hiring highly qualified Security Guards for a public location. These are permanent full‑time positions. This role is suited for experienced professionals who can operate independently and maintain high standards in a public‑facing environment.

• Maintain a strong, professional, and authoritative presence
• Conduct proactive patrols and identify potential risks
• Monitor public activity to ensure safety and compliance
• Respond effectively to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required
• Complete detailed, accurate, and professional reports
• Enforce site policies with confidence and professionalism

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable security experience required
• Police Foundations diploma preferred
• Valid G Class Driver Licence with clean abstract
• Use of Force Certification (required)
• CPR & First Aid (Level
  
  C) current and valid
• Strong experience in conflict management and de‑escalation
• High‑level report writing skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically capable of working 8‑12 hour shifts (standing/walking)
• Clean criminal background check
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Must have a vaild work permit

• Experience in public or municipal security environments
• Previous mobile patrol or supervisory experience
• Additional training in crisis intervention or mental health awareness
• Strong communication and leadership skills
