The Security Support Technician reports to the Security Supervisor and works within the Security Department at the Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.

• Monitor and protect the property, personnel, and interests of Agnico Eagle against criminal activity, loss, and liability.
• Maintain security equipment, cameras, x‑ray units, and site access control systems.
• Control access to establishments using access control technology and operate security control room equipment.
• Conduct patrols of assigned areas to guard against theft, vandalism, fire, and trespassing.
• Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and detect tampering.
• Complete reports by recording observations, filling incident reports, conducting interviews, and assisting with investigations as directed.
• Coordinate with the Timmins bus and LZ5 ore transportation logistics.
• Work and communicate regularly with all other AEM departments as required.

• Minimum high‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Valid G‑class Ontario driver’s licence with a clear driver’s abstract.
• Standard First Aid or CPR certification.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.

4/3 or 5/2 schedule at the Macassa Mine site in Kirkland Lake, ON.

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes a base salary and a potential bonus opportunity. Pay reflects skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
