Security Technician at Macassa Mine

Become a vital part of Agnico Eagle as a Security Support Technician in Kirkland Lake, ON, ensuring safety and security at the Macassa Mine. This role encompasses monitoring, maintaining security technology, and conducting patrols.

Reporting to the Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring criminal activity, maintaining surveillance systems, and managing access control. Your dedication will protect the interests of Agnico Eagle, fostering a secure environment within the mining operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor personnel and property for security threats

• Maintain and inspect security equipment regularly

• Control access using security technology

• Conduct patrols to prevent theft and vandalism

• Record observations and assist in investigations

Requirements:

• High-school diploma or equivalent mandatory

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License essential

• Clear G-class Ontario driver’s license required

• Certification in First Aid or CPR needed

• Good communication skills desired
