• The candidate will be required to produce reports.
• The candidate will be expected to enforce regulations in order to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities.
• The candidate will be expected to investigate unlawful acts committed by employees or patrons of establishments and to recommend security systems.
• The candidate must be able to use security control room equipment.
• The candidate will be expected to patrol designated areas.
• The candidate will be required to conduct security checks on passengers and luggage.

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a CPR certificate, a First Aid certificate, a security guard licence, a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificate, and a security guard basic (pre-assignment) training programme certificate.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate must be able to work in hot conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

• The candidate must be willing to work in a remote location.

• The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.

• The candidate must have prior experience with corporate building security, information (evidence) report preparation, private investigation, and security systems/alarms consulting (residential).

• The candidate must be bondable.
• The candidate should undergo a thorough criminal record check, driver’s licence validity check, and driving record check (abstract).

• The candidate should have an eye for details.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in sitting, standing, and walking positions.
• The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced busy environment.
• The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
