Position: Community Support/Restorative Justice/Youth Mental Health Court/NRAC #26-40
Position Details  Full‑time Youth Justice Team / Restorative Justice / Youth Mental Health Position – Kapuskasing (with travel throughout the NEOFACS Cochrane Catchment area as required). Salary: $58,688 – $79,295 per year.

Responsibilities  The successful candidate will:
Provide intervention and support services to young persons involved in the youth criminal justice system, focusing on community reintegration, social skill development, and coping strategies.
Deliver least‑intrusive, community‑based interventions through restorative justice processes, court‑ordered attendance programming, and mental health diversion.
Assist and support youth and families to promote accountability, rehabilitation, mental wellness, and community safety.

Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Law and Justice, or Social Work preferred (College diploma in Social Service Work or Child and Youth Work also considered).
Thorough knowledge and experience interpreting and applying the legislative acts, regulations, and policies of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) and the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
Bilingualism (English/French) required.
Minimum G2 driver’s license at the time of application, with readiness to obtain a valid G Class license or access to a personal vehicle.
