Youth Mental Health Advocate - Community Integration

You will provide essential support services, including coping strategy development and social skills enhancement. By utilizing restorative justice approaches, your work will facilitate accountability and rehabilitation within the youth community. A firm grasp of relevant legislation and strong problem-solving skills are necessary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to youth involved in justice
• Implement community interventions focusing on mental health
• Encourage accountability and social skill development
• Facilitate restorative justice practices as needed
• Assist families in navigating the youth justice system
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Knowledge of Youth Criminal Justice Act and MCCSS regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility in working hours and travel requirements
• Must be bilingual (English and French)
