Position: Temporary Victim/Witness Services Role
Location: Kapuskasing

Help victims during tough times as a Victim/Witness Services Worker. Utilize your case management and interpersonal skills in a meaningful temporary role in Ontario.

As part of the Victim/Witness Assistance Program, you will support clients navigating the legal system. Your work will involve educating clients about their rights, offering emotional support, and facilitating connections to essential resources. This role is tailored for compassionate professionals dedicated to serving vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate clients on their role in the justice system

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support

• Maintain relationships with justice partners for advocacy

• Create accurate documentation of case notes

• Participate in public education initiatives to raise awareness

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English and French communication

• Valid Class G Ontario driver's license for travel

• Experience supporting victims of intimate partner violence and other crimes

• Strong assessment and case planning skills

• Ability to prioritize and manage urgent cases with care
