Protection Support Worker

Position: Full-Time Protection Support Worker
Seek a rewarding role with North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services as a Full-Time Protection Support Worker in Timmins. Contribute to preventative and protective interventions for children, families, and individuals.

This twelve-month contract requires a passionate Protection Support Worker to join the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team. You will deliver essential services on behalf of children in the care of the Agency’s child protection services. The role involves flexibility in work hours and travel to various locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive and protective intervention services to families

• Work closely with children under Agency care

• Collaborate with the Investigation team for comprehensive assessments

• Apply legislative requirements effectively

• Maintain excellent organizational and communication skills

Requirements:

• College Diploma in Human Services

• Capacity to work flexible hours and travel

• Minimum G2 driver’s license; G Class preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Bilingualism in English/French is an asset
