The Talking Together program, funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, aims to empower families through a Circle process. As a facilitator, you will conduct Circles to help families achieve resolutions without litigation. Candidates should have a background in social work or related fields, with excellent communication skills, and experience working with NAN and First Nation communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate Circle meetings for families to resolve issues
• Empower families through the Talking Together program
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
• Travel to the James Bay Area as needed
• Utilize MS Office software and general office equipment
Requirements:
• Minimum secondary school diploma with relevant experience
• Preferred degree in social work or related field
• Experience in legal systems an asset
• Knowledge of NAN and First Nation cultural contexts
• Proficient in MS Office applications
