Engage in meaningful child welfare with NEOFACS as a full-time Protection Support Worker in Timmins. You will deliver protective intervention services for children in care.
This twelve-month contract role is for those with a College Diploma in Human Services. Your responsibilities will include providing support to individuals and families while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Flexible hours and travel may be required as part of your commitment to safeguarding children's well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide preventative and protective intervention services
• Support children in placement through the Agency's services
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation
• Collaborate effectively with families and children
• Document case activity and progress
Requirements:
• College Diploma in Human Services required
• Flexible availability and willingness to travel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum G2 driver's license; valid G Class preferred
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
