As a Float Driver, you will be an essential member of the Service Treatment Crew. As such, you will be travelling with the crew around Northern Ontario, away for majority of the season. You will begin to know the highways like the back of your hand, as you will be responsible for transporting precious cargo, operating and driving straight and articulated trucks, loading/unloading materials, and operating tack trucks for paving operations.

Strong communications skills will also be necessary as you coordinate with clients, customers and dispatch. When you are not driving, you will be conducting daily circle checks on vehicles, cleaning, and performing equipment maintenance but safety will be your number one priority. It will also be important to stay organized when completing daily timesheets and log books. Enjoy the sunny weather and beautiful views of Northern Ontario while operating state of the art equipment, traveling around the area.

• Valid AZ driver’s license and clean abstract
• Ability to drive standard trucks
• Previous driving experience
• Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and municipality by-laws

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Mechanically inclined

$32.00 - $34.00 per hour
