Job: Apparel Design & Merchandising Assistant
Location: Tinton Falls, NJ
We are a family-grown apparel company that lives at the intersection of art, merch, and hustle. From iconic tees to full-package fleece collections, we create wearable stories that reach fans, dreamers, and rebels alike. We love what we do, and we’re looking for someone who feels the same way.
If you’ve ever walked into a vintage store and wanted to redesign half the racks… or if you can’t help sketching your next idea during lunch — you might just belong here.
The Role -We’re looking for an Apparel Design & Merchandising Assistant who’s eager to learn the ropes of product development from the inside out.
This is not a corporate “sit and spreadsheet” role. You’ll be part stylist, part merchandiser, part creative explorer. You’ll work directly with our sourcing and design teams, scouting trends, helping shop for inspiration, working with factories, and developing new styles that bring our brand to life.
You’ll learn the business behind the art, and you’ll grow alongside a team that values curiosity, creativity, and commitment.
What You’ll Do- Assist in product development
— from fabric choices and trims to final samples. - Help shop markets and stores for trend and design inspiration.
- Work with merchandising and design teams to build style boards and product lines.
- Communicate with factories, sourcing partners, and vendors (domestic and overseas).
- Organize samples, update line sheets, and manage swatch libraries.
- Be part of brainstorms, line reviews, and all the creative chaos in between.
- An FIT grad (or similar background) with a passion for apparel, design, and development.
- Obsessed with details — colors, textures, stitches, tags — the small things that make a big difference.
- A doer and learner
, not afraid to take initiative and figure things out. - A creative soul who’s also grounded enough to handle the realities of production.
- Excited by growth — both your own and the company’s.
- A hands-on learning experience in the real world of apparel design and merchandising.
- Exposure to everything
— from sourcing and graphics to production and sales. - A tight-knit, creative team that values your ideas and hustle.
- Not amazing pay (we’ll be honest), but real opportunity to grow, learn, and build your future here.
Send us your resume, portfolio (if you have one), or even your mood board
— whatever shows us who you are and how you think.
We’re not just hiring for a job, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us and have some fun doing it.
